Welcome to THE PRACTICE.

The Practice is a self-led meditation and breathwork course designed to help you build and integrate a meditation practice into your own life and in a way that feels best for you.

I wanted to create this space for you to not just teach you about meditation and breathwork, but to support you in accessing and embodying the best version of you through these incredibly powerful modalities.

MEET MB

 

As a Certified Meditation Teacher and Breathwork Facilitator, I have not only facilitated and guided hundreds of meditation and breathwork sessions, I’ve also shared these practices with hundreds of people from all walks of life. Over the years as I’ve refined my techniques, two objectives have always remained the same:

1.

Something that I take a lot of pride in is the way in which I share, guide and facilitate. It’s always my goal to make these modalities as simple and accessible for you as possible so that you can start using them today. The world around us is already so overwhelming and complicated - your meditation practice doesn’t have to be.

2.

The way in which I share these practices is done in a way to help you shift your perspective from less to more. It’s so common and normal for us to come into a meditation thinking that the point of us being there is to be less of something - less stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, etc. But any time you’re in a session with me, I encourage and invite you to use this space to focus on becoming MORE of you - more aligned, present, peaceful, at-ease, abundant, loving.

I believe that anyone who has a desire to evolve, grow and learn about themselves through exploring their inner world, should have every opportunity to do so and also feel safe and supported along the way.

The Practice is your container to learn about yourself from yourself. I am here to create the container and hold the space for you but I don’t have the answers for you - you do. And it’s in your practice of learning how to meet yourself in the moment, wherever you’re at, where you start to find everything that you’ve been searching for.

  • THE FOUNDATION

    Before we start anything new in life, it’s important for us to first understand our intention behind it. Our intention is what lays the foundation for change. We begin our program doing just that - giving you time and space to explore what it means for you to start (or come back to) a meditation practice. Throughout the program, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to integrate your experience through reflection questions / prompts.

  • WHAT IS MEDITATION?

    You’ve heard of meditation, but what is it really? We dive into what and how the practice of meditation is defined as so that you feel empowered and informed in understanding how it fits into your life. We also break down common myths you might have heard about meditation and chat about something super common to the practice: resistance.

  • GETTING STARTED

    Before we begin our meditation practice, we explore the ways in which you can set yourself up for success in whatever environment you’re in. One of the best things about meditation is that we can take our practice wherever life takes us!

    We totally get that life happens - some days it feels like you have all of the time in the world to dedicate to your practice and others, well, you don’t.

    Within each type of meditation covered, you can explore your practice in one, five and ten minute guided audio sessions.

    Within the platform, you’ll have the space to connect with others in the program as well as a place to ask questions and share your experience within your practice.

  • I first found meditation when I was in one of the lowest points in my life. It was a point in my life where I was truly the unhappiest person that I knew.

    Ironically, it was also a point in my life where everything in my outside world was great - I had a wonderful job, great friends and family and I was in a loving, healthy relationship. But my inside world was chaos. Behind closed doors, I felt so lost — I didn’t know who I was or what I wanted and while I was so grateful for the wonderful things that I had in my life, I knew that I wanted more for myself. I lacked emotional responsibility, I was constantly negative, bitter, resentful and lacking joy in my own presence.

    It was around that same time that I started to take my happiness into my own hands. I dove into personal development and quickly found meditation - a space that allowed me to hear my own thoughts and spend time understanding who I was and what I wanted out of my life.

    My practice began with ONE minute per day of just sitting in stillness to be in my own presence and grew from there! It is now one of the most profound gifts that I give to myself every singe day and I couldn’t be more grateful. It’s my honor to share your practice with you.

  • This program is for anyone who feels called to meditation and wants to build a strong foundation for their practice. Maybe you’re someone who has tried meditation in the past and just couldn’t stick with it or you have found it challenging to really establish a practice that actually feels meaningful and worthwhile to you.

    Two of my favorite things about this program:

    1. Before we even start meditating, we spend time together getting really clear on your “why” behind meditation. When we have intention behind our actions, we have clarity on their importance in our lives.

    2. We explore FOUR different types of meditation so that you can find which type is best for you. There’s no one way to meditate!
